Lily Suckow Ziemer (she/they) is a poet and artist. She predominantly writes poetry, creative nonfiction, and screenplays, but additionally flash fiction and journalism. She has experience in filmmaking (directing, audio recording, cinematography, editing, etc.) and photography.

Originally from Minnesota’s Twin Cities, Lily attended Emerson College in Boston with a major in Creative Writing and a minor in Media Studies. She graduated Cum Laude in May, 2026. Currently, Lily is pursuing an MSc in Creative Writing - Poetry at the University of Edinburgh.

Lily is a Poetry Screener at Ploughshares, and has previously interned and been a judge with The Writer’s Workout.
